The Leadership Alumni Network Alumni of the Foundation's leadership programs number approximately 2300 and represent the Denver Metro region's business, civic and community leadership.
The Leadership Alumni Network consists of alumni from all of the Foundation leadership programs (Leadership Denver, Impact Denver, Leadership Exchange, Colorado Leadership Alliance, Access Denver and Legacy Denver) and numbers approximately 2300. These alumni represent the Denver Metro region's business, civic and community leadership. The Alumni Network serves to connect alumni with each other and to the broader civic, business and community sectors. Alumni volunteer to serve on committees that develop and present groundbreaking educational forums and publish a quarterly newsletter, Connections.
On October 30, 2009, the Leadership Alumni Network presented the annual fall forum and reception, "A Candid Dialogue with U.S. Senator, Michael Bennet," at Metro State College of Denver. A pragmatic leaders known for taking on complex challenges and opportunities, freshman U.S. Senator Bennet reflected upon leadership lessons learned in his experiences as an elected and appointed official, and as a business leader. Following his remarks, he participated in an engaging and informative dialogue with the attendees.
