Leadership Denver brings together leaders to discuss and learn about the challenges facing the Denver Metro area for the purpose of expanding their commitment to voluntary civic responsibility.
Leadership Denver is a 39-year-old program that develops community leaders and enhances the civic infrastructure of the Denver Metro region. This 11-month program brings together approximately 55 diverse leaders from the for-profit, nonprofit and government sectors. Partial scholarships are available for individuals who need financial assistance for the program's tuition. These scholarships are critical to Leadership Denver's commitment to class diversity and representative community leadership.
Goals of Leadership Denver
• To identify leaders in business, government and the community and assist them in expanding their skills in, and commitment to, voluntary civic responsibility.
• To provide these leaders with a practical, in-depth understanding of major community issues facing the seven-county Denver metropolitan area.
• To enhance the communications network among leaders from diverse backgrounds and interests.
• To facilitate access between Leadership Denver class members and the current leadership of the community.
